N.V. California Rosso Classico. In the "old days" many Italian farmers and winemakers knew what blend of wine they liked, and developed what they called "field blends". This was simply a mix of various varieties of grapes in one vineyard. Very few of these vineyards exist today. We have blended approximately half of a Napa Valley field blends (primarily petite sirah) with approximately half Sonoma County Cabernet Franc. Less than 65 cases produced. (winemaker's choice). $25.00/750ml bottle.
